On Demand
is comprised of two interacting servers: Voice and Fax
The Voice Server answers calls, asks pre-recorded questions and
collects information, i.e. desired document(s), fax number, optional
passwords and account or credit card numbers, via touch-tone input.
A NET SatisFAXtion fax server is the powerful sending engine
behind FaxBack Fax On Demand. Responding to information gathered
by the Voice Server, it loads up the selected documents, attaches
a cover page and delivers the materials to a caller’s fax machine
within seconds.

Taking
advantage of the nearly 50 million fax machines installed in North
America alone, FaxBack Fax On Demand fulfills requests for information
24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The NET SatisFAXtion fax server, the Voice Server and all documents
reside on the same machine -- so even if your network goes down, FaxBack
Fax On Demand will continue to answer calls and fax requested documents.

NET SatisFAXtion’s
Validation Editor provides the ability to create rules that validate
the fax numbers callers submit. Create and modify as many rules
as necessary to address all the control issues your business might
have such as:
- Blocking transmission to certain numbers, in particular,
those with a 900 or 976 prefix.
- Using long distance services that require additional access
numbers for long distance faxes.
- Adding an extra digit, usually the number ‘9’, to access
an outside line.
- Removing an unnecessary area code when dialing local fax
numbers.

A print-driver ships
with every FaxBack Fax On Demand system in order to convert documents
into a faxable image files. It sets up as an available printer,
letting you "print to convert" documents created in any Windows

DocTools is a set
document management utilities that simplify the process of preparing
documents for FaxBack Fax On Demand. In addition to converting documents
from their native file formats to FaxBack’s faxable file format,
it can automatically generate the document catalogs that callers
receive the first time they call your system. |

Access |
FaxBack
Fax On Demand’s account access features allow you to restrict callers’
access to documents by means of a customer or account number. The
feature is ideal for applications requiring access to information
through subscription. When a caller provides an account access number,
FaxBack Fax On Demand searches a pre-assigned database to validate
information. At the same time, it can retrieve a callers’ name and
fax number.
Callers without an account or those who have entered an invalid
account number can hear a message instructing them on to obtain
an account or be given the option of providing a credit card.
